Sustainability Management

Management Message

We are committed to developing innovation solutions with our customers to help build a cleaner and safer mobility society.

I am Kazunori Tanaka, appointed as Representative Director, President & CEO of Mitsubishi Electric Mobility as of April 2025.

While the management member has changed, our commitment remains the same. As part of the Mitsubishi Electric Group, we continue to position realizing sustainability as the cornerstone of our corporate management. We remain dedicated to providing solutions to social challenges through our businesses.

The automotive industry has long contributed to greater convenience and comfort in society, but it has also faced social issues such as greenhouse gas emissions and traffic fatalities as it has evolved. Recent advancements in electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, as well as driver assistance and automated driving systems, are not only driving innovation to tackle these long-standing issues but also creating significant opportunities for our business growth.

In response to this industry-wide transformation, we focus on delivering products and services in the following two key areas where our strengths can make a difference:

  1. Improving vehicle fuel and energy efficiency to support a decarbonized society.
  2. Harnessing advanced sensing and control technologies to help eliminate traffic-related fatalities.

Additionally, we are utilizing our expertise in automotive technology to expand our efforts into a third area:

  3. Tackling labor shortages through Robot Delivery Service.

By focusing on these core areas, we will collaborate with our customers to develop innovative solutions that tackle social challenges. Our goal is to grow into a company that is needed and valued by both employees and society, and we will continue to move forward with this commitment.
