Air-flow Sensor
This sensor is placed in the intake manifold of an automobile engine and measures the air flow rate entering into the engine. The output from this sensor is used to calculate the optimum amount of fuel to be injected.
Feature
- Air flow rate is measured by using relationship between the air flow rate and the amount of heat transfer from a heater to the air.
- High response speed and low power consumption are achieved by using thin-film heaters manufactured using silicon micromachining technology.
